D6948 safely arrived at Bishops Lydeard on Monday 29th April following a 3 1/2 hour road trip from Gloucestershire into the neighbouring county of Somerset. The loco will be staying for just over 2 months and is expected to move back to Toddington on or around the 8th July.
D6948 will soon be in action, and will be working the 11:00 Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and 16:10 Minehead to Bishops Lydeard services this coming bank holiday weekend Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May. Full details of the loco’s roster whilst at the WSR can be found on the Roster Page.
