An important task has been to thoroughly clean and refurbish the electrical cubicle at no.2 end. This is not only good ‘housekeeping’ but is essential to help keep the electrical equipment reliable and free of dirt, dust and other contaminants during the refurbishment process, which will be important when the loco is re-commissioned back into service. New labels will be applied where necessary.
