It’s that time of year when the big guns come out to play and the diesel fleet makes it’s first appearances. 37215 makes an early start this year and is the first out of the blocks on the PURPLE timetable on Tuesday 31 March.
The groups’ loco will also be running on numerous days throughout April, including the following – Weds 1st April, at our BRICKS event on both Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April; Weds 8th, Thurs 9th and Sat 25th April.
The loco is also scheduled to join sister, D6948, for a ‘Double-Up Sunday’ on Sunday 26th April however due to the repairs being undertaken on D6948, it is highly unlikely that the ‘Green Machine’ will be fit for traffic by then. We will keep you posted on whether 37215 goes it alone on that date.
