A fantastic attendance, decent weather and a great showing by both locomotives (although D6948 did throw a strop a couple of times!) ensured that the whole day was great success for the Group and for the railway as a whole. It was great to see the interest in both locos from the general public as well as the enthusiast fraternity, with a steady stream of cab visits and questions for the crews.
