Loco roster fully updated for July and August 2021

The loco roster has been fully updated to include the latest booked workings for 37215 at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. The loco will be seeing a good deal of activity during late July and August, mainly featuring on the last Broadway-Cheltenham-Toddington service of the GWR’s purple timetable. D6948 latest

Unfortunately, progress with the lift of D6948 has been hit by the Coronavirus pandemic. Originally planned to lift the loco in March 2020, work was successfully undertaken to disconnect the bogies from the body and prepare for the body lift in October. The lift was then provisionally planned for January 2021, but again had to be deferred due to the 3rd wave of the pandemic. click to continue reading
