After the enforced break for Covid, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway’s successful Diesel Gala returns over the weekend of Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As it currently stands, although things may change closer to the event, both 37215 and D6948 will take part in some way – hopefully, 37215 will have returned to service after the repairs to its generator, some pipework and brake system repairs and completion of it’s B Exam; D6948 will be on display, as she was at our last Gala in 2019. The Group’s sales stand will also be in attendance so pop along, say ‘Hi’, pick up some merchandise and help us with the upkeep of the locos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guest loco for this year is English Electric\/Napier Type 5, Class 55 ‘Deltic’, 55019 ‘Royal Highland Fusilier’ courtesy of the Deltic Preservation Society.
